Congratulations from all at the Pyramid Club
to Helen Wicks, joint owner of Memphis Afrikaisi,
Best Foreign Kitten at the Supreme Show 2008.

This months photo was posted by Phil Bamford and shows his two Mau kittens with his older cat.
We are a friendly club which will
treat Pet and Show Egyptian Maus with equal importance.
The Pyramid Club has been set up to compliment
the original breed club, |
Mission Statement Like the ancient pyramids of Egypt we wish to build the club on firm and enduring foundations with the beautiful Egyptian Mau always at the top and as our main concern. Forming friendships and being able to help and assist each other are more important than personal gain. Pet Maus are just as important to the Pyramid Club as the showing and breeding Maus. All members and their cats are of equal importance. Due to the complexities of breeding and showing the site may have more articles on these subjects but we want to ensure that any member who chooses not to participate in shows or a breeder has an equal say in the club. Maus make wonderful pets and we want everyone to share their stories about their Mau. This club
is about sharing. By sharing information, ideas and
personal stories we should all be able to learn much more
about the Egyptian Mau. No member of the club or a member
of the public should ever be made to feel that a question
is trivial or stupid. Any ideas as to how we can hold our committee meetings without the need for people to travel are welcomed. We hope that we can use current technology such as conference calls, or voice over internet to speak about the club, the members and the cats. In this way we hope that the committee can be formed of people from the whole country and not just those who can easily travel to a venue for meetings. Voting will be held by email, post or in person to ensure that everyone has an equal say in the club. Members who do like to show will be pleased to know that the club will work towards affiliation with GCCF and a voice on the BAC committee. Members who wish to show under different bodies will receive equal encouragement. Benefits of Membership
